The Questra IDM Application Suite collects a vast amount of data over time. The data collected from devices, as well as the data you and other users enter, is stored as real-time data. On any given day, when you examine the most recent status and activities of the devices you service, you are looking at this real-time data.
Real-time data is, by definition, recent data, and it cannot be retained indefinitely. On a regular basis, perhaps every day or every few days (as determined by administrators), older real-time data is moved out to make room for newer data. Although some of it is deleted, much of it is saved as historical data, which you can retrieve for charts and reports in order to analyze trends in device data over time.
Eventually, the oldest of historical data is moved to offline storage and is no longer available (unless re-imported by an administrator).
As you work in the Questra IDM Application Suite, keep this data flow in mind. The data you see one day may no longer be available for viewing as device readings and activity, but for a period of time it will be retained as historical data for inclusion in reports.
