Use the New TotalAccess Connection dialog to associate a TotalAccess connection for a device type. A TotalAccess connection specifies which type of client-server connection is supported for a device type.

can be made automatically for individual devices when the Service Agent
starts up. This requires configuration options in the Service Agent that

Fields
Device Type |
(Read-only) The name of the device type you are working with. |
Connection Type |
Select the applicable connection type. |
Initiate property |
Select the device type property that will be used to initiate the publication of the connection to the Questra TotalAccess server. Initiation is required in order to establish a Questra TotalAccess session. (If this initiate property has not yet been defined, see Adding Questra TotalAccess properties to a device type.) |
State property |
Select the device type property that will be used to retrieve the state of the connection. (If this connection state property has not yet been defined, see Adding Questra TotalAccess properties to a device type.) |
