Acknowledge Alerts dialog

Use the Acknowledge Alerts dialogs to acknowledge or close out one or more alerts.


Best Practice for
acknowledging alerts

Alerts for a given device are sent to all the Questra IDM Application Suite users who are owners of the groups to which the device belongs. You should acknowledge an alert when you plan to address the condition that is reported in order to communicate to your co-workers that you are handling the issue as well as to avoid potential escalation of the alert.

Here are listed all alerts that have not yet been acknowledged and not yet been closed. Select one or more from the list to acknowledge or close out.

Assign to

By default, the alert is assigned to you. To select a different user, click Search  to open the Search dialog, where you can search for a different user. (See also Searching for devices, groups, users, or configurations.)

Notes

Type any notes that will be pertinent to you and your co-workers about the plan to handle the alert(s).

Acknowledge Alerts

Click to acknowledge the alerts.

Close Alerts

Click to close the alerts.
